ABOUT SU OROSA
I believe passionately that we are all born into this world with huge potential to live life to the full. Somehow however, life as we have created it, often seems to have a very different plan for us and we all too easily become distorted versions of ourselves, in the attempt to fit in at the expense of what our hearts and souls truly desire. This happens from childhood onwards. I see this in others as I have seen it in myself and I have made it my life’s work to be a companion of change for those who are no longer prepared to live half a life; for those who know there’s more to life than the one they are currently living; for those who seek support in their quest to accept and love themselves, knowing at a deep level that this is the only way to discover their life purpose and meaning.
I have a love of humanity and my work gives me much joy and pleasure. I feel truly blessed to witness and be part of clients’ journeys either through counselling, coaching, my workshops or VIP days. All the work I do is about digging deep and helping clients to make transformational life choices. My ability to offer empathy and unconditional positive regard to everyone I work with sets the foundation for much rich and creative work.
I’m at the stage in my career now where I can consolidate all of my previous work under the umbrella of Integrated Wellness. My background includes working in Education and the Voluntary Sector where I have been able to learn how to facilitate groups, teach at a variety of levels from Community Video skills and confidence-building skills through to ‘A’ Level Spanish and more recently, teaching on the BSc (Hons) degree in Person-Centred Counselling at Sussex Downs College. I’m also a clinical supervisor for counsellors, energy-workers/healers and coaches. I have run workshops about team-building and How to Listen Effectively and Counselling Skills for managers; I love the fact that these important tools and ways of being have the capacity to transform teams and impact positively on the culture of an organisation.
When I think of Wellness, I think about the mind, the body and the soul. I think about the person as a whole which is why I like to incorporate different ways of working with clients – see my Toolkit for more information about this.
I draw inspiration from the constant challenges and lessons that life brings me and perhaps more importantly, from my clients themselves for whom I have much love and respect; this is a gift for which I am truly grateful. I really hope that you’ll be called to joining me in your quest for a better life so that together we can create a successful working relationship to take you to the next step along your path.
